Inspiring Young Minds

About Imagine School Of Dance

Imagine School Of Dance was established on the 25th October 2015. It was originally set up in Christchurch Community Centre, Oxton, Wirral. Its Purpose was to Provide a High Quality Dance Education at an affordable price taken by Miss Ashton McGowan, ISTD, IDT and Melody Bear Dance Teacher.  Over the past few years Imagine School Of Dance has continued to grow at a steady pace and since opening has grown by more than 10x its original size.

Today, Imagine School Of Dance is based in the heart of Birkenhead, Wirral and occupies a double shop front on Argyle Street which is easily accessible by public transport and car. Our 2 studios are fully equipped for all of our classes and have been fitted with semi-sprung floors, full length mirrors, Air Conditioning and heating. Our Studio has both changing and washroom facilities and is Wheelchair Accessible.

Our School Motto is ‘Nurturing Young Talent’ – this is our primary focus when teaching all of our students. All of our staff here at Imagine School Of Dance are Passionate about what they do whilst also being caring and understanding to each individual child's needs. All of our teachers are highly qualified and experienced in their field. All of our staff hold current DBS checks and are periodically monitored by the Principal.

Children are initially grouped into classes with children their age wherever possible but are then monitored by their teachers and may be moved to a more suitable class for their Ability level so that they can get the most out of their class. They are constantly monitored and may be entered for ISTD exams when they are ready for them.

At Imagine School Of Dance, we hold our own on stage performances every 2 years, and we encourage all of our students to take part.
